The SOS Children’s Village in Ennerdale is a place of safety for young, vulnerable children. The organisation provides a family-like environment for kids who’ve lost their biological parents or who’ve been abandoned, essentially looking after youngsters who’ve had it rough with a network of carers around the country.

As part of the Global Citizen Festival and the Mandela 100 initiative, HP paid the SOS Children’s Village a visit last quarter to drop off some much-appreciated equipment, to spend some time with the kids, and to bring some delicious lunch to share.

In response, the organisation wrote a lovely thank you message to HP, saying “Thank you for making a difference in the lives of our children. It is as a result of people like you that an organisation of our nature is sustained and our vision for a better SA for all can be realised.”

HP donated six computers, essential stationery, and board games to the organisation, and a wonderful day was had by all involved.
