For many, January is associated with new beginnings. At HP, we continue our reinvention journey in 2019.
In FY18, we executed our priorities well and we saw the results of this throughout all aspects of the business. Our objectives for FY19 reflect much of what worked for us in FY18, and we’ve expanded them in specific areas so that we can continue to raise the bar and take HP to the next level.
Our HP FY19 Marketing Priorities are to:
- Support all BU and Regional business priorities with demand-driving initiatives
- Accelerate the marketing digital transformation and fully deploy to top markets
- Strengthen our storytelling to build our brand and drive measurable demand across top business priorities
- Improve customer experience between HP.com & HP store in top markets
- Continue to drive cost efficiencies
- Increase engagement and key diversity metrics
We are very excited about 2019! We will continue to innovate and deliver the most exciting devices while we accelerate our transformation to more solutions and services (the WHAT). And, we will do it in a way where culture and integrity shine and people are celebrated and valued more than ever (the HOW).
HP has one of the broadest and deepest security portfolios in the industry. To elevate security as an HP brand pillar, this year we will continue with focused initiatives around our HP marketing security campaigns in Africa. We will also focus on the HP Z2 Book- Targeted at architects, engineers, and product designers, the campaign focuses on the key insights and strageic executions in the animation and design verticals. Premium is still a core focus and you will see more and more emphasis being placed on that in FY19
This coming year marks HP’s 80th anniversary. No one could have predicted that two college grads, Bill and Dave, in a garage were on the verge of creating one of the world’s most innovative and iconic companies. Today, we are stewards of their incredible legacy, and we have the unique opportunity to write the next chapter in the HP story. If we continue doing what we’re doing while making progress in the areas discussed above, I have no doubt we’ll lead this business to achieve great things in 2019 and beyond.
