Welcome to Q4, the experience age!

In this era of big data, marketing is vital, human insight is key, omnichannel becomes the only channel, and brand will become more important than ever. We find ourselves in a time where great brands can transform culture and the heart will rule.

The role of MARKETING is to build brands that stand the test of time. Our marketing priorities going into FY19 include the following:

  • Be excellent in the core
  • Accelerate the plans for profitable growth
  • Deliver on the milestones for our future
  • Reinvent our culture
  • Continue to drive our innovation discipline

In Q4’18 our activities will continue to drive pan-HP REPUTATION and sharpen HP’s brand storytelling through our Influencer Campaigns. We want to build a hyper-targeted media capability for consumer and commercial, and localise content with insights into key local markets

This quarter we will continue to build BRAND RELEVANCE and marketing capabilities in Print and PS by optimising consumer and commercial journeys on HP.com to ultimately transition B2B marketing to a fully digital model.

For those still on leave: I hope you are enjoying the summer break and recharging before the new quarter kick starts. But despite the break, we have had quite a busy Q3’18 in Africa in terms of Marketing executions.

We have had end-to-end retail executions, launched the Office of the Future in Johannesburg to our partners and customers, partnered with key celebrities across Africa to bring you unique influencer videos and even disrupted the market with our Apple Compete Campaign just to name a few.

As promised in the last newsletter we plan on making the second half of the year even better. Here is a snapshot of what’s to come in H2:
