The Office of the Future Event was a Security Event hosted for HP’s Customers to facilitate understanding of the Security features on HP devices geared towards gaining market share for HP commercial Print and PC devices.
Objectives:
- Drive Elite, Value and Commercial PC and Print Portfolio.
- Create visibility and talkability for HP amongst key stakeholders, resulting in increased goodwill.
- Create a platform for Product Engagement.
- To create a platform to engage the target audience with the sole aim of providing possible solutions to their business needs.

The event was held at Transcorp Hilton Hotel, Abuja, on the 30th of April 2018 with attendance of 21 customers and 6 HP staff. Expected attendance was 30 guests. See below agenda.
Event Flow & Summary
The event kicked off at 10am by a welcome address given by HP Nigeria’s Emmanuel Eze. After the welcome address, he introduced the HP team to the guest . The presentations kicked off with Akhuemonkhan Ihongbe Ero, who gave presentations on Innovation for the modern workforce.
This session highlighted It’s about the people: the workforce; It’s about where work gets done: the workplace, emphasising that work is no longer a place we go, but something we do. It’s about how work gets done, and work styles.
Akhuemonkhan also highlighted some of the latest HP Innovations like the HP EliteBook 800, HP EliteBook x360, HP EliteBook 1020 G2 , HP Elite One 1000 G1 AIO, HP Elite Displays, HP Z8 G4. The session lasted for one hour.
After the tea break, Dorowoju Babatunde gave a presentation on HP Managed Print Services. This session highlighted What is MPS ?; Why we are here – Solve customer Problem, add value and grow business; What does it take to offer MPS?, HP A3 and A4 managed devices; and The LaserJet advantage and the PageWide difference.
Next on the agenda was Ihunaya Nwachukwu’s presentation on The Office Printing Innovations. This session – amongst other things – highlighted performance of HP PageWide; Transactional Portfolio; Management of your fleet; Challenges in enterprise fleet management; and HP Printing Solutions. The session lasted for 30 minutes.
Angbo Francis gave the last presentation on “Prints. Scans. Protects – Beginning a print security conversation”. This session highlighted Security and Risk Management with HP; Informing and identifying potential risk; assessment of risk; how to determine the correct solution; and how to identify the correct solution.
Next was a Question and Answer session, where guests were given the opportunity to ask questions which the presenters addressed accordingly.
The event was brought to an end by HP Nigeria’s Akinlade Adewunmi, who gave the closing remarks.
