2018’s energetic start an OMEN of things to come

It has so far been a, very busy New Year here at HP! We ended last year with a bang, and 2018 has already swung into full gear.

Read about what we have been up to in the first 2018 PC Marketing Newsletter, from our exciting Omen Activations, to our African HP Connect Retail Campaign.

Last December HP rolled out the The HP Connect Campaign, a huge retail push into three different markets: Morocco, Nigeria and South Africa. This was the first time we managed to launch a campaign simultaneously in various African markets.  In Q2 ’18 we plan on executing a similar activity for our HP Dream Big Retail promo coming in April. Stay tuned!

With each New Year comes the opportunity to reflect on the past, and plan for what lies ahead. This year we’ll be focusing more on these key PC priorities: Elite, Security, Desktop-as-a-Service and Workstations, Premium and Gaming, and aligning those technologies to our customers’ needs.

In parallel to this, we will also be driving the overall Corporate/HP Business Objectives for Africa by working closely with the PR team to drive the following objectives:

  • Positioning HP Inc. as a thought leader about Innovation and talk about leapfrogging technologies into Africa – manufacturing, Security, Animation, Virtual Reality
  • Expand and maintain our HP leadership in Africa
  • Become a  Cultural LAB in Africa
  • Walk the talk of the new HP way
  • Become a performance-driven culture that puts Africa on the HP WW map
